Impossible

Impossible paperback edition Wicked and disturbing. It was romantic and dark. I found it rather... Weird. It was not really my type of book, although it did have a fantastic ending. Nancy Werlin definitely has a gift. Luce was a thrilling main character and her emotions were displayed beautifully. The story-line was sad. Taking place in the modern era but you really felt like you were reading about something that happened long ago, which, I think, is what Nancy wanted to portray. I mean if you were pregnant and being haunted by something evil, wouldn't your life seem sad?

Lucy is seventeen when she discovers that the women of her family have been cursed through the generations, forced to attempt three seemingly impossible tasks or to fall into madness upon their child's birth. But Lucy is the first girl who won't be alone as she tackles the list. She has her fiercely protective foster parents beside her. And she has Zach, whose strength amazes her more each day. Do they have enough love and resolve to overcome an age-old evil?
