Let me just start by saying:
You know those books that leave you happy and excited? You go around the rest of the week thinking about how truly lovable that book was, and your friends tell you that you are actually glowing (meaning that you are in a good mood)? Well that's how I felt after this novel by Judy Christie. It was Deliciously written, I wanted to hug Wreath (the main character) the whole book! Wreath was indeed an amazing girl! I don't think I'll ever forget about her. Infact, the story and characters were so good, the plot was so perfect, I can't think up a single negative thought! That is an absolute first. I'm sure I will come up with something or another later because I always do, but I feel so muddled by the *glow* Wreath left on me! Have I mentioned how great it was? I think so...
What do you do when you’re too young to be on your own but have no one to turn to? Sixteen-year-old Wreath Willis makes a list: Find a place to live. Buy cheap food. Finish high school. Get a job. Go to college. Now she’s finishing high school by day and squatting in a junkyard by night, flying below the authorities’ radar while she makes a few awkward friends and searches for an illusory “good life.” But when a teacher grows too suspicious, Wreath is afraid she’ll have to move on before she graduates. Could it be this was a good life?
