Who is she? That is the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out. When one of the strangers--beautiful, haunted Akiva--fixes his fire-colored eyes on her in an alley in Marrakesh, the result is blood and starlight, secrets unveiled, and a star-crossed love whose roots drink deep of a violent past. But will Karou live to regret learning the truth about herself?
Delightfully thrilling! There was a lot of character building stuff in this action packed story. It really makes you think about who you are. There was a little too much romance for me but it was really good and I am pretty picky when it comes to that stuff. The characters were very hum... Lifelike. At one point I stopped reading to thing about what I would use wishes for. I really like the flying idea. The descriptions Laini Taylor displayed in the novel still swim through my head. They were perfectly vivid! I really loved this book, as you can tell from the previous paragraph, I can not wait to read Laini's next book!
Thank you so much!
